It's all about the speling.
Look, I love TWOP and probably couldn't live without it (especially now that FT is gone and GAFF seems to be dying a slow death). But sometimes I wish misuse of the phrase "rein in" were a ban-able offense.
Use of the phrase runs rampant in the thread for the latest episode of PR, with good reason, but I actually had to stop reading about a half-dozen pages in when I realized that out of every ten people who use the phrase, approximately eight of them will spell it "reign in." Where the hell does this come from?
