...And Winter's Waiting

My eyes started aching after I'd spent all day putting together patterns for my dragons, so I took a break and moved on to something that caused no eyestrain at all.

Oh, I kid! It's eyestrain city all around!

Anyway, following up on my Brooklyn Bridge one, Newsies gets a turn at the snowflakes, and Jack and David manage to sneak their way in.

Closer to real size:

Folded scissors cut, as usual. There's a nod to the turn of the century with a Victorian-inspired scroll border along the outer edge.

Closeup of the boys. I hope they don't incite my other snowflakes to go on strike.

Flake is 8.75" across, the biggest of the lot so far.

that's really cool! I always admire interesting and new ways of showing tribute...snowflakes! Very original ;) I'm impressed with your skill at design too. Good stuff.

Thanks very much. I cut plain snowflakes every year but this year I finally hit upon the notion that if I could cut abstract shapes then I could cut specific ones as well!
