Patrick Swayze.
I remember a time when you couldn't walk through my dorm without hearing someone somewhere playing a song from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack.
His passing is hitting me unexpectedly hard--I didn't go out of my way to see his movies, but I did enjoy the ones I watched, and he seemed like a really decent guy. He had this sense of vibrant energy about him, and it's difficult to imagine that being gone.
Rest in peace, Mr. Swayze.
