Ooops.

Why do I keep doing this? Accidentally erased another first-run, first-gen MST3K. One of the Master Ninja episodes, with David McCallum in it, for goshsakes. Why, why, why?

(Let me explain why I'm upset--for a great many MST3K episodes, the rights to use the movies have lapsed, and as such they will neither be broadcast again nor commercially released, ever. Meaning first-gen copies are an endangered species, and the numbers are only going to go down.

I taped and wiped a great many, years ago, back in those heady golden days when MST3K aired, like, twice a day on Comedy Central and it seemed as though it'd be around forever. Now I carefully hoard what I have left while shelling out lots of dough for the few that have been commercially released, or for fuzzy nth-gen copies. Oh, the things we do for fandom.)
