::hugs:: to everyone for your kind messages.

I'm mostly back up to speed re: my shoulder (still a bit sore), though it'll take me a while to catch up with replies, etc. that I owe people. I spent much of last week moving as little as possible, since the pinched nerve affected not only my right arm but also my neck/back and partly my left arm as well. In particular I have a whole new appreciation for my neck muscles now after not having been able to turn my neck or look up or down for days :-P

Poor you! I've been offline a bit with a cold and didn't read about your troubles. I'm glad you're on the mend! Get well soon! I've had a pinched nerve a couple of times from stress, and it wasn't very painful but just left my arm tingly and my shoulders tense. My doctor recommended professional massage, which was great. I don't like friendly backrubs at ALL, but I found that I do like professional massage. And I never would have splurged on it without a doctor's recommendation.

Though I'm sure your own doctor will have given you his/her own professional advice. Take care of yourself!

Thanks! I just have to remind myself to take it easy...I did some housecleaning earlier this week and spent the next day in so much pain. So I'm taking it slow...

I had a pinched nerve two years ago in my shoulder blade (same arm), but that was a numb/tingly one, unlike this time. It's good to know massages help. I've never tried one though I've always been curious.

Hope you're recovering from your cold!
