Well, I suppose it's not a very "Hollywood" ending: big long movie with no "happy" ending. I guess they wanted something upbeat. But I stick to my conviction that they shouldn't have killed Lancelot in the first place. If it doesn't seem to affect Arthur terribly much, then what's the point? Where's the dramatic payoff? (And don't even get me started on Tristan.)
