LOL! It seemed people either loved the cones or hated them. ^____^
There was a Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Cones...

One sort of amusing thing I heard about was that since avatars couldn't 'touch' each other, but could touch cones, and only so many people could fit in some city spaces together, if someone went afk in the city, someone could use cones to push that person's avvie off a cliff, where they'd panic link and go back to their own relto. ^^;;; I never saw that happen, but I did see afk people get surrounded by cones while they were away, only to return to find themselves up to the neck in friendly orange...

We figured out how to get them into the fountains in the neighborhoods, too. And brought fireflies all over...Oops! ^_~
