Do not pass?

From an article at CNN.com:

The tiny state of Rhode Island still ranks rock bottom in terms of driving knowledge, according to a national test conducted by GMAC Insurance. Oregon drivers answered the most questions correctly.

The test revealed that about one in 11 licensed drivers in the United States would fail a state drivers test, according to GMAC Insurance.

The 20-question test was based on questions asked in state driver's license examinations. A score of 70 or higher is required to pass a standard state test.

Yikes.

You can go take the test for yourself here. (I got an 80.)

Isn't most of it logical stuff? I got 90, and I don't even have a license.

It had better be. For instance, if anyone got the "pedestrian crossing" question wrong, I'd be very worried.

One of the questions I got wrong was "Which of the following is used on some highways to direct drivers into the proper lanes for turning?" I don't remember seeing those around here. On local roads, yes; highways, no. But it's different in different parts of the US. So I guessed.

I also got the "left turn/vehicles coming from the opposite direction" one wrong, but I need to look up why. Practically speaking, there is no way to wait until ALL cars have passed. There will always be oncoming cars. Am I missing something?

I don't remember seeing those around here.

And by "those," I mean, "White arrows in the middle of the lanes."
