Guh...

From a 1996 Playboy interview with Johnny Depp:

Depp can be equally defined by the roles he didn't take. He reportedly spurned Keanu Reeves' part in "Speed," Brad Pitt's role in "Legends of the Fall" and Lestat in "Interview With the Vampire."

Dunno how true this is, but.

Depp.

As Lestat.

Okay. He and Armand don't get any screen time together.

But.

::mind explodes::

Argh. You are so determined to get me to put Armand-Banderas with a Depp character, aren't you?

::whistles innocently::

Incidentally, your "Miguel" icon is messing a bit with my mental picture of Good Omens. Depp is my front-runner for Crowley but his angelic counterpart Aziraphale remains uncast. Banderas will not fit. Even if that pic makes me want to reconsider.

Dammit.

Screentime in the movie, no. "The Vampire Lestat" is a different matter.

*meep*

Shit. The Brat Prince, book version (circa Vampire Lestat or Body Thief), is far too close to my Sands for comfort. And someone just dared me to write more vampire fics...

"The Vampire Lestat" is a different matter.

Hmmm.

I haven't really read Rice's books, just flipped through 'em on occasion, but that's food for thought.
