[livejournal.com profile] grace_poppy asked for pics, so here's one. None of the dragon in the sorry state it was in last night (I sewed it back up this morning), but here's a glimpse of it from several days ago. You can still see the exposed wire armature for the wings and, if you look closely, evidence of the bad habit I seem to have picked up for leaving zillions of unclipped threads hanging everywhere.

On your pimp, I got a copy of that "Sewing Tiny Toys" out from the library and it is AWESOME. I have a bat in the works, though when I will actually get time to construct him, I have no idea. Can't wait to see your finished dragon, it already looks flappy and totally exciting!

I got mine from the library too, and still haven't returned it. I love it because the projects are simple and small yet realistic. For you it'll probably be a breeze since you know your way around needle and thread. Do post pics when you're done!

So cute!! So is it from that same book?

Thanks! It's not from the book...I wanted a dragon from Reign of Fire, so I pretty much free-handed this one.

Wow, I'm even more impressed now!
