Jeeves And The Charm Bracelet.
I've been a fan of the Fry & Laurie Jeeves and Wooster, and of the Jeeves stories, for over a decade. Every few years I "rediscover" them, much to my delight.
This time around, they provided the inspiration for my latest piece of jewelry.

I don't often do charm bracelets, but I couldn't resist this one. It's got ten charms, each of which were inspired by J&W.

It contains, in no particular order:
- "London" charm, featuring Big Ben
- "New York" charm, featuring the Statue of Liberty
- grand piano
- a pearl (for one of Bertie's greatest triumphs)
- a lovely classic car
- pitcher and cup (for that domestic touch)
- a glass leaf (for those weekends in the country)
- golf clubs
- paintbrush and palette (for all those escapades that began with some blasted painting)
- and last but not least, a small shiny heart (for all those romantic entanglements, engagements, and expressions of the proper feudal spirit)

I love that roadster charm. I *think* I might have one similar to it, since used to collect charms that represented my quirks and tastes...

Lovely selection of charms!
I wouldn't be surprised if Bertie had a few baubles on his watch-chain. Perhaps there's a diamond ring among them.
Actually, it might be Jeeves who has a diamond-ring watch-chain charm, carefully hidden behind the button-hole to which the chain is affixed, so it can be felt but not seen. A gift from Mr Wooster, either commemorating all the times he didn't have to give the ring to a bally beazel, or for another reason :-)

Do your icon keywords really say "family photo"? That is hilarious.

I miss J&W, too. Lately I've been re-watching quite a lot of them.

When one of my best friends got married, a girl who loved Lord of the Rings, I made her 9 wine charms to represent each of the 9 members of the Fellowship. It was fun.

I love the LOTR idea. What charms did you use?
