I cannot believe I'm thirty-six chapters into this monster. Chapter XXXVI was a tough one to write, but it's one of my favorite chapters yet.

Ok, I have no idea what's going on in the bigger story as I haven't read any of it, but that piece was very exciting! The description of the running and the sense of urgency was really well-written.

Thank you! For some reason, writing the beginning of stories/poems has always been the hardest for me. In the case of this fic, I'd just done a lot of research for it but kept putting off the writing. I finally had to make myself sit down and just do it!
