It was the cat. The cat made me do it.

Okay, was I the only one silly enough to play the "make the magic potion" game on the Shrek 2 website? (But they show the cat! Chasing butterflies! It's a completely unfair ploy.)

Anyway, I can locate all the ingredients, but I can't end the game. It says you have to click on the Fairy Godmother but there's no Fairy Godmother in sight. Possibly has something to do with the fact that the game opens in a fixed-size window, clearly cutting off some stuff at the bottom, but no matter what I do I can't access it.

I want to end the game, dammit! What happens when you win? Curse you, elusive Fairy Godmother!

Should I cut down on the visual-gimmick icons? Because I get very nice comments on them but invariably few takers. Both batches of the b&w-and-color-combo icons went pretty fast, as well as some of the more conventional ones, so I guess I'm not crap at making icons in general.

The unusual ones are fun to make, but they're also a lot of hard work. The compliments are great to receive, but the practical side of me wonders...

I'm not really adding any more '..Mexico' icons to my collection (although having said that, I could change my mind for the right pic of the right character).

But then I go for fairly simple icons anyway.

Well, it's not just the OUATIM icons--happens to the POTC ones, too. People like the more conceptual ones but those just don't get used as much.

I think the best thing is to make what you like making, and not worry about whether people use them.

Says she who keeps complaining that no one's making icons of her missing characters.

Yeah...it's just that the point of sharing icons more or less is that they be used. Well, I'll think on it.

What icons are you looking for?

Definitely Ramirez, possibly Fideo -- with or without Lorenzo, maybe Ajedrez in uniform.

Then Buffyversewise I'm after Giles (or better still younger Giles, to go with younger Ethan but that's possibly going into photomaip territory), Giles/Ethan, and maybe Giles/Oz.

Oh and if anyone ever found me a picture of Jason Carter's Repo-man from his one appearance in 'Angel' I'd be incredibly happy (should really go over all the screencap sites again when I've got more time).

Could probably help you out on the Ramirez--I've got a pic or two of him somewhere. What would you like--just a headshot?

Jason Carter was on Angel? Are you a B5 fan?

Yes, that would be cool if you could do it, ta.

Yep -- playing a mockney demon who took great delight in telling people what would happen if they reneged on their debt(1). And yep -- although I still haven't got the DVDs.

How's this?

Ah yes, Ivanova icon. I was a big fan of B5 during its first run. But I've never seen the final four episodes. The series ended just as I moved away from a great group of friends--many of whom were also big fans--and somehow I've never been able to "finish" it.

I met Richard Biggs at a con once and was so sad to learn he passed away a few months ago.

Oh, very nice pic. I'll have that, thanks.

The last series of B5 lost its way a bit, but I should really rewatch the whole series at some point.
