No. 9 Thanksgiving updates.

ldhensonNo. 9 Duane Street says "Happy Thanksgiving" with the addition of not one but two Thanksgiving images.
The first was a photo taken in 1898, showing the boys lining up for Thanksgiving dinner at the Lodging House. The image is very dark and indistinct, but you can make out some individual faces and background details.
The other is a line illustration showing the Thanksgiving dinner itself, likely dated 1890's.
There's also another illustration of an everyday dinner (just to continue the theme), plus new info about curfews, the private beds, Sundays, and--yes--meals again. Other updates (since the last time I posted about the site here) include info on the movie Newsboys' Home, the Farm School, two images of the Tompkins Square LH, the movie strike versus the historical one (did you know there were really two strikes?), and a host of other stuff.
I've also pulled the Campbell images, pending a reply from Harvard. (No, no-one complained. I'm just playing it safe.)
