Initial, mostly-superficial reaction after seeing Troy, no spoilers:
Still very much up with the Sean Bean love. I actually wasn't as excited to see him as I thought I'd be before the movie started. Then he showed up, and approximately two seconds later I remembered why there was Sean love in the first place.
Still not a fan of Brad Pitt.
Great to see Orlando Bloom again. I really enjoyed watching him.
That Eric Bana is hella cute. I haven't watched his movies before. He had me from, like, his third scene; he sold me on his character. I don't think Pitt did.
Brian Cox is always a treat.
Peter O'Toole rules.
All in all, glad I went, mostly for the revelations (to me) that were Eric Bana and Peter O'Toole. Not a movie I think I'd see twice, though.
