This...thing called writing...
Dec. 9th, 2003 03:16 pmDetermined to break out of the 1.5 stories/year average. I haven't lost my taste for poetry, but I really feel the need to stretch myself in this new direction, or at least recover the prose-writing ability that I somehow used to have years ago.
I've gone through a number of fandoms in the past few years that I thought might be "the one" to get me back into the swing of story-writing...none of them, save for LOTR, yielded anything even remotely presentable. A lot of starts, no endings.
Have half-written and discarded probably my fifth story idea for OUATIM so far. Usable or not, at least I'm coming up with ideas at all, itself already a vast improvement.
