D'oh!

I knew I forgot something yesterday! Totally didn't set the VCR to catch Johnny on King of the Hill. Darn, where are those reruns?

At least I got to cheer myself up by catching some of the QEftSG marathon. These guys are like an instant pick-me-up. I'm on the Thom love train and it's starting to break speed limits. I even sat most of the way through the episode where the lawyer gets rid of his toupee--one of my least favorite episodes (coughhismothercough)--just because Thom was smokin'. How hot did he look, and how genius was his house makeover?

Two and a half weeks to MW!

I'm all giddy about it, even though fully half our usual room can't make it this year :-( But we're adding one new roommate so that'll be fun.

I'm a little surprised at how the panels turned out. There's only something like 2 POTC panels? Given that it appears to be one of the more prolific fandoms online, I thought there'd be a lot more. Are there fewer fans than I thought? Is it that POTC fans aren't interested in panels? Or could it be that the POTC fanbase just doesn't overlap MW membership much? Or did everybody think someone else was going to do it?

I fall into the last category myself.
