The watch list.
Nov. 8th, 2004 12:30 pmAll right, we're a few weeks into the new fall season, and already my to-watch list has gotten a bit of a shake-up.
Must-Watch:
Long Way Round: This jumped right to the top of the list after episode 1. My Ewan love is reawakened, and he's lucky to have such a good friend in Charley. I'm sorry to hear the ratings are low, though. Bravo ("all poker, all West Wing, all the time") needs to schedule a few more reruns, and maybe move it out of the 10 p.m. EST timeslot.
Two and a Half Men: I'm really enjoying having a sitcom to like again. Plus, sitcom kids are generally afflicted with an obnoxious brand of rudeness; Angus T. Jones suffers from none of that.
Queer Eye: Dammit, I missed the first of the new eps. Bravo, seriously, there's only so much poker that needs to be broadcast.
Catch when I Can:
Father of the Pride: Started off well, but its scripts began to get bogged down in run-of-the-mill family sitcom stuff. Still fun though.
Waiting for Hiatus to End:
24
Dropped Off the List:
Smallville: And I'm so sorry to have to say it. I stuck with it for three seasons and my Rosenbaum love is still strong, but I cannot rustle up the interest anymore for the directions this show is taking. Unless it's improved considerably after the first two episodes this season.
