ldhenson: (no timewasters please: cap by missmanics)
So back in November I complained about my icon-making dry spell, what with the complete lack of inspiration or motivation at all. But LOTR eventually gave me a boost, and now I think I've got my groove back.

VH, as it turns out, feeds right into my ongoing fascination with shapes/silhouettes in my icons. I first tried this technique with King Arthur last year, but was much less satisfied with the results (though I did manage to pull off a variation on it with Tristan and a hawk that I quite liked). It suits VH a bit better, as it's got some distinct silhouettes to play with.
