...Or a reasonable facsimile thereof, anyway.

It's my latest sewing project, which has been going on for quite some time mostly because I'm a "measure five times, cut once" type when it comes to fabric. Last night I came pretty close to getting it done, only to decide that the tail dimensions were off and that the only way to avoid having to cut and sew a whole new tail was to slit the entire length and put darts in it. Which is why it's currently all opened up, with wads of stuffing hanging out and pins stuck everywhere. Poor thing.

Those of you who've read my Newsies fic can probably guess which movie's dragons mine is based on...

None of the dragon in the sorry state it was in last night (I sewed it back up this morning), but here's a glimpse of it from several days ago. You can still see the exposed wire armature for the wings and, if you look closely, evidence of the bad habit I seem to have picked up for leaving zillions of unclipped threads hanging everywhere.
