Pearl Harbor.
Dec. 7th, 2007 12:59 pmBy chance I stumbled on a post in
onecat_nodog's LJ reminding us that today is the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Somehow it had completely slipped my mind, but in honor of the day, here are a few links that are definitely worth checking out:

- National Geographic's "Remembering Pearl Harbor" site. In particular, stop by the "Memory Book" feature (in which visitors leave personal or second-hand accounts of the day) and the interactive map and timeline, which is very well put together.
- The Naval Historical Center's library of selected images and FAQ (which includes links to survivor accounts). The Center is an official history program of the U.S. Navy.
- USS Arizona Memorial, NPS site. Contains numerous resources, including casualty lists.
