Made this before I made my plush Fell Beast, but didn't post it at the time since it was a surprise present for a friend.



A nice leaf-wrapped package...

I've been wanting to get some; I heard you can hike a whole day on one of these.

Thank you. Initially I didn't like how the leaf was decorated and put it away as a failed project. A few months later I added some embroidery, and bam! Now it's one of my favorites.

Well thank you! I had a blast making the fell beast--his wings were so interesting to work on. The friend whom I gave this lembas to was the same one who would later give me the suggestion about making the jaws of the beast visible. So it all comes full circle :-)

That is great and of course the captions to go with it made me laugh. I can just feel the felt looking at the pictures - but then again I am addicted to felt and making it. It made me want to grab some felt and roll in it (okay I am weird).

Felt is great; I love working with it. Funny, I have quite a lot of it in my stash, but no matter how much I have I always can't seem to find the one color I need.
