Fic Publishing und Cons, not related.
Apr. 28th, 2005 08:21 pmHeh. I'm laughing at myself because when I first started in fandom, I had to wait two years to get my fic published. Tonight, I have to wait for mod approval on a moderated list in order to get my fic up, and I'm all impatient.

A zine publisher in one of my old fandoms recently was hit with a C&D. I don't have the details so I won't comment, but ugh, that can't be fun.

One of the things I love so much about MW is that the con itself only lasts four days/four nights, if you count Thurs. and Mon. as half days...but the anticipation starts up a month before it and the afterglow lasts a whole month after.
