Icons, my fic, and switching sides.
Oct. 13th, 2005 10:54 amOh, I'll admit it straight off: I'm posting this entry because I want to use my newest icon, which I'm fond of beyond reason.

I didn't want to, but I think I have to acknowledge that I'm pretty much blocked in Chapter XX of "The Dusk Descending," and have been for quite some time now. This means the fic's going to get updated slower on ff.net, unless I manage to somehow kick-start it again.
It also means waiting longer 'til I can get back to reading other people's fics again. Reading similar fics while writer's-blocked is the worst for me; I'm thinking there's probably some subconscious tendency to borrow ideas.

My right wrist has been feeling a little stiff and very slightly swollen these last two days. (I've no idea why; I haven't changed my typing habits in years.) Hence my newest resolution: learn to use the mouse with my left hand.
Starting now. It feels silly and awkward but hopefully it'll give my right wrist a chance to recover.
