Yeah, I don't even know.

Just for scale, my knife there in the last pic is 5.25".
The usual paper-cutting parameters: cut all as one piece (from cardstock) and then folded; no adhesives; cutting and folding only.
Also, somebody please send help.

Date: 2011-02-14 07:11 pm (UTC)I am slightly at a loss at to how this relates to the original flat piece of paper it began life as (if that makes any sense?), but that actually makes it a fascinating puzzle in addition to hilarious and awesome.
Also, I have the correct icon for this one.
Incidentally, I've begun playing with papercutting myself - currently words, but mostly I am discovering how a) I need more practice, and b) that I need a knife with a much smaller point - I find I want to hold it very close to the tip, which is a terrible idea with a plan exacto... Yours looks more suited to the purpose.

Date: 2011-02-16 03:15 am (UTC)Yay for more paper-cutting! Interestingly I'm used to holding my knife pretty high up. Never really thought about it before, but I suppose that how it's turned out. The knife in the pic was an Xmas gift, and the tiny blade is nice for tight curves. I swap between it and my sliding exacto's depending on which feels more comfortable. It's different for everyone, I guess. Are you going to post your cuttings?
