Stringers and formers and views, oh my.

Some shots of my newest baby, the Guillow's 16" P-40, still under construction.
The instructions are, shall we say, less than detailed and the views often cryptic, which means there are bits where it didn't seem to make a difference if I glued it 1/32" to the left or right, only to find, when you fit another part to it ten steps later, it made all the difference in the world. Fortunately, there haven't been any disasters of the "cut it apart and re-do it" variety, and I've been able to reshape new parts to fit with what's already been secured.
I don't plan to cover the finished model. The skeleton look is what drew me to it in the first place (that and the added attraction of not having to work with plastic glue). I have the final look in mind; I just have to pull it off right.
Some pics:

The fuselage starts to come together.

A top view of the mostly-finished fuselage.

The wing assembly, also almost finished. Finally got that pretty dihedral secured!
