ETA2: I've reached the limit of the number of orders I can take for December. You're still welcome to e-mail me, but any new ones I make will have to be after the new year.
Everyone's been so sweet about my plush Cornetto! I've had some people express interest in having one...
So far I haven't always taken commissions, because handmade plushies tend to be pretty pricey as they're so labor-intensive (I do every stitch by hand). But hey. We've got a shiny new Hot Fuzz DVD set. It's the holidays. If people want them, I'm happy to offer to make some more. (As such, I'd prefer not to share the pattern just yet, apologies.)
It's made of felt, with polyfill for stuffing, and ribbon and metallic fabric paint accents. It's 6.5" high (take a look at the third pic for scale). The one thing I want to change is the location of the nut sprinkles, which mostly appear in the center and on the chocolate stripes on the real thing. (Why yes, I'm being pedantic about ice cream.) The strawberry Cornetto from SOTD can also be had. I'm thinking $15 + shipping.
(The specifics of shipping I have yet to figure out, but as I sometimes do, I'll swallow some of the shipping cost if it turns out to be a lot.)
Leave a comment or drop me e-mail at lynnedhenson @ yahoo . com if you're interested.
ETA: I ought to point out, to be safe, that this isn't for very young kids/pets, as the ribbons/sprinkles can come off with enough determined force. (But for the kids in all of us, it's just fine.)
