Hi, I'm glad to find your site.

I am working on a film set in NYC in 1864.
We have a lot of street scenes and I want to fill up
the air with the sound of the news boys.

I have lots of access to the headlines of the day and
I'm hoping you can give me some ideas on how the boys
elaborated on the headlines as they called them out.

How did they pitch them? What was the language?
What did they say to make the headlines for interesting?
