TG3 Telly Cushion.

Help me, I can't stop making TG things.
My latest bit of stitchery:

I'd actually been meaning to do this one for a while, and had in fact gotten as far as figuring out the pattern pieces when the idea to make a plush Oliver came along and I wound up doing that instead. But after I finished that and a couple other things I was supposed to be stitching, I finally sat down and made this.
It keeps me company when I watch TV. Alternatively, I can hold it up in front of the screen and pretend TG is on (guess who doesn't get BBC America anymore...sob...)

Captain Slow...

...Hamster...

...and Jezza.

View of the back.

Close-up of the gear.

Everybody!

ETA: Some people have requested a pattern/instructions, so I've put together one to share for free. Drop me a note at lynnedhenson @ yahoo if interested.

Date: 2008-09-05 11:12 pm (UTC)Glad you like the pillow. Speaking of details, you can't really see it in the photos, but the gear on the back is actually stitched in two colors of thread, one light and one dark. Halfway around the gear, the colors switch. It's very subtle but livens up the design somehow!

Date: 2008-09-05 05:19 pm (UTC)Now, there needs to be a plush Stig!
no subject
Date: 2008-09-06 02:59 am (UTC)Some say he shouldn't be dry-cleaned, and that he's made of 100% acrylic. All we know is...he's the plush Stig.
Nooo...stop giving me more ideas...
